fireworks.
Never allow children to play with or ignite fireworks, instead have a responsible adult ignite them.
Do not lean any part of your body over a firework while igniting it, instead stand to the side and use a punk to ignite the firework while distancing your body from it.
Read and follow all warnings and instructions on the fireworks label.
Do not attempt to customize or modify any firework.
Be sure other people are out of range before lighting fireworks.
Only light fireworks on a smooth, flat surface away from the house, dry leaves, and flammable materials.
Never try to relight fireworks that have not fully functioned, instead, douse them with water and leave them alone for several hours before disposing of them.
Keep a bucket of water available in case of a malfunction or fire. Do not hesitate to pour the water on a small fire. Waiting too long may allow the fire to become to large or difficult to control.
